Born from decades of obsessive digging, Tadpoles' dives into a meticulously curated archive of eclectic sonic masterpieces from the 60's and 70's.  

 

Expect a heady mix of fim soundtracks, easy listening, library, blaxploitation, sweet soul, progressive soul, funk, soul jazz, spy/crime jazz, cosmic jazz, gospel, psychedelic pop/rock/folk, incidental music, disco, blue note, exotica, moog magic and much more....including some of my own re-edits, blends and sample based music. 

 

 

Layered throughout are evocative excerpts from film, TV, cop shows, documentaries, interviews, trailers, adverts, cartoons, and vintage children's tv. With a special focus on lush strings, bold brass, dreamy woodwinds, harpsichords, vibraphones, gritty drum breaks, weird organs, early synths, and rich vocal harmonies.
