The e files is a mediumistic DJ set performed once a month and broadcast over FM radio. All selections and suggestions made during the e files are on-the-fly.
The show celebrates and explores rave nostalgia, embodied memory, and suggestion. It draws on my life-long love of dance music and cyberpunk, a growing tendency to experience extreme tingle experiences, training in hypnosis, and a spate of near-future dystopian sci-fi writing about psychedelic-psycho-chemical-occult manifestations as a way to explore capitalism's interventions on inner life, and an embrace of the microphone as adjunct to ecstatic suggestion.
